Boy, what a busy time we have had over the last few weeks.

Last weekend was a market at the Flinders Street Shopping Centre. Although ably promoted by James Whitehouse of Kanga Markets and Events, it was a shame the shopping centre management didn’t list the markets on its Up Coming Events page. Most shoppers were pleased to see the markets but unprepared as they didn’t know it was on. Still, we enjoyed the day, making new friends and even engaging three new Gifter Artisans from amongst the stall holders (with a fourth in the wings!)!

Our prize draw was won by Amy, and she will have received her notification email. We look forward to hearing from her soon!

Our new Gifter Artisans are:

Kellie Marie of Kellie’s Kreations

Kellie specialises in: upcycle furniture with a unique style that captivates the imagination, and each piece expresses their own personality.

Polly Wilson of Cosmic Culture Art

Polly is a proud Gamilarol Wellwan woman. Formerly from North West NSW, Polly now lives in WA. Her art is an outlet for deeply held emotions, expressing her life’s tragedies and struggles. She was taught be her cousin and, once starting her art journey, has not stopped!

Look out for stories about each of these Gifter Artisans in upcoming posts.

Thank You Melissa!

We met Melissa at an alcohol-ink painting workshop earlier this year. Melissa was recovering from an injury that left her unable to continue knitting. Hearing about the Cre8ive Artisans Pod and what we do, Melissa immediately offered to donate her stash of wool to us. Wow! It wasn’t a little stash either, it was in the order of 100s of dollars!  Thank you Melissa, your donation is sincerely valued and Jenni will happily turn them into crocheted items for the shop!

Thank you Melissa!

Market Updates

As previously mentioned, the Stirling Farmers markets were a hit. We would like to contact the winner of the prize draw so if you are a Nicole and you were at the markets, please check your email junk folder and see if there are a couple of emails from us!

And, we finally caught up with Elaine Richardson, winner of the very first prize at the Perth City Farm Winter Markets. Congratulations Elaine!
