We are so happy to make a 2nd donation to Ability Fair Trade Village, to help the Siem Reap Food Bank feed disadvantaged artisans and their families in Siem Reap Cambodia.
CAP Shop Profits of au$780 were transferred on 27 July 2022. This is a combination of recent online sales and sales from our market stalls in June & July. This makes a total of $1791.50 we have been able to donate. A big thank you to all our customers as well as the CAP Gifter artisans and Our Supporters who help make this possible. Please see Your impact –https://capwa.online/who-we-support/your-impact/ for more information.
Buy local – support global! If you can’t find what you are looking for on the CAP Shop please make sure you visit the individual Gifter Artisan’s websites as they have lots more creative work for sale:
- Local Gifter artisans – https://capwa.online/artisans/
- Our supporters – https://capwa.online/home/our-supporters/
- CAP Shop – https://capwa.online/shop/
We are hoping to be able to provide another donation very soon and will be at the Flinders Street Shopping Centre this Saturday 6 August. If you can’t make it send your friends and family along instead!
New Gifter Artisan
Our second piece of exciting news is about our new Gifter Artisan Rocio Uculmana, of Handmade by Rocio. We first met Rocio at the Perth City Farm Winter Markets where she is the Coordinator. Rocio knits, crochets and makes handmade soap. She donated a crocheted toucan for our stall at the Stirling Farmers market and it created a lot of attention before being quickly swooped up by a young attendee! Another item that didn’t have time to get onto the website before it was sold.
