We are so lucky in WA to have a community of talented and generous artists where we can source the most unique Christmas gifts. I recently attended the Lesmurdie Arts and Crafts Christmas sale of works at Falls Farm in Kalamunda.  Another stunning venue, and a huge variety of items for sale from handmade glass decorations to painted silk scarves to pottery to quilted items and much more. Remember this one for next year!

Now open for Christmas shopping is the Pop-up Shop run by the Armadale Society of Artists (ASA).

Artists and artworks in the Popup change over every two months and this rotation sees two of our Gifter Artisans represented. Mo Woltersdorf from Mo’s Latest Creations, winner of the ASA 2021 Best Local Artist for her piece Against the Elements, and Chantalle Grummet from Life Laid Bear. You can find their gifted items in our Shop.

With 38 artists participating, there is a very wide range of artworks available, some large and some small pieces. You will find original artworks in all mediums, prints, sculpture, handmade textiles, coasters, pottery, woodwork and greeting cards. The shop it is staffed by the artists on a volunteer basis, so you may be able to talk to your favourite artists. You can even layby items too.

The ASA Pop-up Shop is in the Armadale Shopping Centre Shop 2.21a, 206 Jull Street, Armadale (next to Reject Shop). Opening hours Monday – Saturday 9 to 5pm and Sunday 11 to 5pm.

You can find more handmade venues in our Events page. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for regular updates.
